Herukan
Herukan is an all-rounder Discord bot: moderation, leveling, welcome messages, tickets, giveaways, AutoMod, custom commands, scheduled messages and more — all in one bot.
These docs describe what Herukan can actually do on your server and how to use it as a member or server admin. They aren’t meant to cover the bot’s technical internals.
Slash commands
Herukan has no text prefix (so no !kick or similar) — every command is a native Discord
slash command. Just type / in any channel and Herukan’s commands show up in the suggestion
list, including a description and options. Discord walks you through the required inputs
automatically (e.g. which member, which reason).
Two ways to set Herukan up
A large part of the functionality is not configured via slash commands, but through the web dashboard (log in with your own Discord account, requires the “Manage Server” permission). That covers things like welcome messages, the AutoMod word list, level roles, ticket panels, giveaways, custom commands, auto-responder, scheduled messages and social media notifications.
In Discord itself there’s usually a matching read-only command that shows what’s currently
configured (e.g. /autoresponder list, /announcement list, /config) — but changing anything
only works in the dashboard. Every feature page in these docs says whether and how you use it
in Discord.

Language
Herukan replies in English (default) or German — a server admin picks which one in the
dashboard, and it applies to everything the bot writes on that server. The command names
themselves (/kick, /rank, …) always stay the same regardless of the configured language.
Freshly invited: everything is off by default
Right after inviting the bot, not a single plugin is active — Herukan won’t post a welcome message, won’t moderate anything, and won’t bring any commands with it at first. An admin turns on exactly what the server needs in the dashboard; only then do the matching slash commands show up in Discord. That’s intentional: a new bot shouldn’t do anything nobody asked for.
If a command doesn’t respond
Admins can disable individual features (e.g. the entire leveling system or AutoMod) for their server in the dashboard. A disabled command stays visible in the command list, but only replies with a short error message instead of performing the actual action. If a command says “no permission”, you’re usually missing the matching Discord permission — every command page states which one that is.
